Travel well in good company
Meet your host, Denise
Seasoned facilitator. Business leader. Avid traveler. Yoga enthusiast. Mom, wife, friend.
I grew up in a small town in East Tennessee with a fittingly sized local newspaper. After church each Sunday, my mom would stop by the local newsstand to pick up the Washington Post which had been set aside for her by the shop owner (and my brothers and I would each get a piece of candy). I didn’t read much of the paper, but I always pulled out the travel section to discover the outside world. When I was about 12 years old, I saw the most breathtaking photo of Machu Picchu. In that moment, I committed to myself that I would venture there one day to see the ancient Incan city with my own eyes.
Throughout a full and rewarding career in corporate America, I’ve designed and facilitated leadership development programs, helping others grow their impact. In addition, I’ve enjoyed frequent travel, including a two-year expat assignment in Chile for an international consulting firm. On the personal front, over the past 30 years, I’ve had the blessing of traveling to dozens of countries with my husband, three children, extended family and dear friends.
Now I’ve combined my professional and personal passions to create small group experiences with women at the center. To me, that looks like -
Connecting with others in a meaningful way
Enjoying new experiences in breathtaking locations
Gaining insights to live life more fully
I hope you’ll say yes to a Well and Away adventure and give yourself the gift to recharge and enjoy time away from daily life.
PS - I made it to Machu Picchu!
Is this type of trip for me?
This type of trip is for women who enjoy time away in a scenic and inspiring setting. Members are eager to connect with others and are flexible, upbeat travelers. They are ready for a decent amount of walking - typical for exploring Europe. And, they prefer comfort and depth over rushing through sights.
They are happy to have someone else take care of the lodging, local guides, meals, interesting activities, and the small details so they can pause and enjoy.

Nice, France - September 2026“Picture wine on the terrace with the Mediterranean at your feet. Our recent trip felt like a holiday with old friends, even the ones I’d just met. Everything was taken care of so I was able to have the gift of enjoying.”
